Fall Style

Is it seriously September? The weather can change quickly here in Northern Europe. Just last week we had hot sunny days with temps getting into the high 80's, definitely summer.  This week it has turned to Fall with much chillier mornings and evenings. Of course, this has inspired me to start thinking about my Fall wardrobe. I've been spending waaay too much time on Pinterest, finding great inspiration, and took a brief field trip to a local shopping center for "research". I've never been very fashionable, and my wardrobe is mostly neutrals (and a bit boring), but I do like to shop and try to buy a few current pieces each season, especially accessories. Here are a few styles I found recently that I particularly like.

Leggings, boots, tunic, and a scarf-these seem to have been in style for a couple of years now. This is such a comfortable outfit and looks pulled together without a lot of effort. I managed to snag another scarf for just 3 Euros at an end of summer sale! I have a whole collection that adds some great color to a neutral, plain outfit.

I love this color combination-it just looks like fall. I also have a couple of pairs of flats to wear with my skinny jeans. The open cardigan is everywhere, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Cardigans are definitely a must for Fall, though, since the temperatures can change quickly during the day.

I love this outfit, except I would wear taller boots with leggings. I have a couple of sweater dresses and a jean jacket. Perfect for cooler evening temperatures. I just bought my first wide belt, another great bargain at an end of summer sale.

What's your favorite trend for the upcoming season?
